Glad You Are Coming Back
Glad to see that you are coming north. I'm going to adjust my lesson book to plan to spend a little time with you at the Barclays.

Regards,

Allan Renz

Thanks, Allan. We can't wait!

For those that don't know, Allan Renz is a top flight instructor -- Teacher of the Year in 2004, 2005 and 2006 -- at the Golf Academy at Chelsea Piers in New York City.

The academy offers a high-tech, 2,000-square-foot indoor training center and features a variety of schools and private/semi-private instruction for novice and accomplished golfers.
This state-of-the-art facility features hitting bays, a practice sand bunker, an indoor Putting green and chipping area, state-of-the-art digital swing analysis computers, and two brand new Full Swing Simulators.

Check out Allan's bio at http://www.chelseapiers.com/gcAcadPros.htm and, if you're in his area, set up a lesson or three. You will be glad you did!

Looks like I will be attending on the Friday and will have access to the Barclays Hospitality tent. Hope to be able to say hello.

Tommy,
Spread the wealth next year, bud! I stood outside that tent last year like Barney outside Moe's Tavern on Election Day last year. Would give anything to get inside!

Actually, I'm hearing there's going to be a rotation, possibly including Bethpage. Seems the Tour will do anything to get Tiger to play the first round of the playoffs!

Tiger's Events or the PGA Tour Playoff's???
That's weak on the tour's part if they do that.

Stop catering to Tiger and stay at Westchester it's a great event with a rich history!!

Everyone had a chance to be in contention this week!!

Westchester
The tour announced in early May that the Barclay's would only be held at Westchester CC in 3 out of the next 6 years, including this one. It will be played at Liberty National in Aug 2009. Nothing to do with Tiger, and no mention of Bethpage.

Liberty National
Liberty National is an awesome golf course in Jersey City NJ. The golf course offers great views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. I believe this will become a great site for the tournament. It will be played at Liberty National in 2009.
