His worst shots reminded me of me only he could do something from those funny places he found himself. 20 minutes with any of you machinist teachers and he'd be solid. Heck, any of those guys would be solid.
A little extensor action and some tracing wouldn't hurt much.

This is what he is trying to accomplish. This is a practice swing. Parallel planes theory. Left arm parallel to the shaft plane at address. Club points outside the line. The club is cocking along the plane of the left arm instead of the Inclined Plane. The left wrist is arching , a horizontal wrist motion, an off plane cocking of the left wrist. Under plane. This a learned thing reflecting a misconception.

Homer said that the left arm , given any #3 Angle is not on the Inclined Plane. He also said the plane of the left wrist cock is vertical with no horizontal left wrist motion.

If you get stuck with and have an under plane shaft .......its going to rebound over plane. It'll feel like its your hands doing it but it isnt, its just an equal and opposite force type deal. Under then over. You can chase it by trying to not get stuck, smoothing things out, but to fix it for good you have to get on plane at Top, I think. Something you cant do if you perception of what that means is all wrong.

That said I cant believe how close he got today given how off he was.
