On the Right Track?
After trying out different methods to beat the white ball, I've come back to 'hitting.' I'm getting very good results, but I'm not sure if I'm doing every thing right. I use the video where 'yoda' is demonsrtating with the dowels as my template.

At address I lean the shaft forward, place my left thumb on the right side of the grip, place my right hand over my left thumb, and I try to feel like my right elbow is on plane. My back swing is just a lift of the right forearm. On the downswing, I try to start the club down slow and lazzzy, and use my tricep to beat the ball into the ground. I really have the feeling that I obliterate the target line with the shaft of the club.

Also, I never ground my club;I float the clubhead above the ground. My impact image- at impact the ball spins in the ground like a tire in the mud, and rolls up the club face. My divots actually have this look.
