Is it Time?

Why is it that we all worry if our golf swing is on-plane at top but don't worry that our head is moving when we putt? Why is it that we all monitor on-plane start down but do not monitor having the forearms in plane with the putter? Why is it that we all work on our pivot feverishly but do not work on the tempo of our putting stroke? Why is it that we all work on hinge action in our golf stroke but not in our putting stroke?

Isn't it time to REALLY begin and incorporate TGM principles through the game?

I couldn't agree more VJ. Golfers would benefit a great deal by learning first to Putt. When you’re able to Two Putt from anywhere on the green, then learn to Chip. When you can get up and down many times in a row, learn to Pitch. When it’s time for the Driver, you'll have already learned the mechanics.

Why not start by learning and improve a Stroke with the fewest components? Learn the components first. One at a time. Learn to "sustain the line of compression" on the Putting Green.

"Why is it that we all monitor on-plane start down but do not monitor having the forearms in plane with the putter?"

Could you elaborate a little bit more on this point as it is something I have been working on and not sure I have it right.
