There's no doubt I delivered a highly concentrated amount of information -- a fifteen minute radio interview is, after all, only fifteen minutes -- but I thought the communication was straightforward. I explained the most obvious differentiating terms (jargon) as they were introduced. Thus, I didn't see a 'translation" problem.

I thought it was great, just great, Lynn. You are familiar with their language more than they are with yours , like Bam Bam points out. Nothing new there.

They asked the questions and you answered them and very, very well , I'd say. You could have dumbed it down but that would have been simplification by omission and a wasted opportunity perhaps to get your thoughts across ....... if not immediately to them, then to others or for future listeners who will study it word by word. People who would want more than the dumbed down version. So thanks for that.

In particular I enjoyed the Hands to Pivot explanation.

That is what we call "Educated Hands" and a "Hands controlled Pivot".

Now does that give the PIvot, the Body, and all of its components; the Feet , the Knees, the HIps, the Shoulders their movement? The Work of the Hips? Does it give the PIvot Zone 1 the permission to goof off or abdicate its responsibilities? Absolutely not!

Pivot is Zone 1, Hands are Zone 3, Arms are Zone 2. (Body control , Club control, Ball control), (PIvot, Power, Purpose), (Balance, Force, Direction)!

So we're working in three Zones but in the end they're all controlled by the Hands.

Lots to chew on there. "Now does this give the Pivot..... components..... their movement? ..... Absolutely not". I love that line. There is some confusion around this concept I think in regards to notions of the Hands moving the PIvot or the Hands necessarily moving before the Pivot etc etc. Its a big topic maybe but fundamental to understanding Homer.

...... Pivot Center was great too.
