Sean Elliott
 

Sean Elliott, 3-time NJ Junior Champ and long-time student of Bill Castner, PGA, and Lynn Blake, began his freshman year last month as a scholarship golfer at University of Central Missouri.

Last week, in the team's six-round qualifier, he fired 15-under par and earned the #1 spot in the year's first tournament.

Sean is now 17?? That makes me feel old! I remember meeting him and his mum when I first visited the Swamp all those years ago.

The second picture of Sean is when he was 17. He is now a freshman and probably closer to 18? If I remember correctly, math skills erode as you get older. I think.

Somehow I managed to not feel old as my idols became younger than myself. But I have a feeling that I will feel old when they are younger than my kids. It's only a few years away, but life is good anyway.
