Match play pole-ie breaks opponent's back
I was in a match play event last weekend. It was a very windy day. I was using my Swinging stroke off the tees and my Hitting stroke for the much needed knock-down approach shots.

I came into the 16th hole and we were all square. The wind had really come up in our faces. I had 154 yds into a stiff wind. So I pulled the 6-iron and busted a nice knock-down shot that never left the pin.

BAM! It hit the pin and dropped on the edge of the cup. My opponent looked at me and said, "I have no chance today. I don't have the ability to hit low shots like you do."

I went on to win the match 2 up.

Another TGM moment....priceless!

That was a 4-barrel hit to the pole.

Trig,

One more question.....do you use "Shoulder Turn Throw" per 10-20-C in combination with a "wrist throw" per 10-20-E with your three barrel swing?

I made a post about the wrist throw in the swinging room last night. I'm going to move my reply to that thread.
