Well, Rick, you certainly nudged me along today! Thanks for your help. I think I may have seen the light, finally! I only wish I had been shown the way to swing 40 years ago!

My hat is off to you!
Taffy,
It is a pleasure to work with you!.

Learning is a "process"...A PROCESS is a set of events or occurrences that, together, lead to some particular product, state, or change. Practice and learning taken together, lead to the acquisition of the capability of moving skillfully - with "skill". You are making the necessary changes on the inside that are leading to the changes that you see on the outside. It's piece by piece and little by little...you will get there. Thanks!

Knowing the alignments ain't bad is it....then putting these mechanics into motion....

Another wonderful lesson with Rick today. As much as I learned I enjoyed the stories of time with Yoda in Orlando during the PGA show just as much. I just wish I had been taught this stuff 30 years ago before i got so old and fat! Thanks for the day Rick.

Last Sat spent a cold windy morning sitting around indoors hitting a few balls but mainly discussing the swing and hitting vs swinging and most importantly what will work best for me. Together we concluded that hitting was for me. Yesterday I hit about 35 balls and today I played-hitting all the way. As long as I don't over accelerate all is beautiful! Thanks Rick!

Yoda and Rick have changed my golf game, that is for sure. Can't thank them enough.
Taffy, for some reason your description and Lynn's "Swing the mop video" just snapped in my mind!

http://lynnblakegolf.com/index.php?option=com_hwdvideoshare&task=viewvideo& Itemid=85&video_id=115

Basic Motion =Flying wedges=slight RFT=Drag the Mop=Golfer's Flail =Finish Swivel or Hitter Compressed Finish Swivel=Forward hip Shift=Stationary head =correct grip= Hitter's Impact Fix =Lag Pressure=danger of over-acceleration

I love it when a plan comes together!

Another fine morning with Rick today. It was so interesting having a PGA pro I know watching us say 'Tom, how did you get to hit it like THAT?" as he has played with me before! Told him "by working with Rick".
Spent an hour working on extensor action, clearing the right side and down and out.
My ball flight improved so much. Thanks, Rick!
