Flew into Atlanta 9/30 on my way to visit my daughter at Auburn and was able to have a brief sojourn to The Swamp again. This time it was with Ted Fort. Once again, the magic of Marietta was on full display. I have been "hitting" since my visit with Yoda back in March and, as expected, have hit some bumps in the road along the way. Well, Ted had me hit a few PW's and after a few swings took some footage. However, he told me what I was doing wrong BEFORE we looked at the tape. My right arm had lost some of its bend at address and, as a result, my right forearm wasn't exactly on plane. My left arm was very stiff at address and this was preventing me from having maximum extensor action. Worked on those issues and had me open my hips at address---an interesting feeling I've never felt before. Also brought out the Power Angle Pro and showed me how this helps with extensor action. If done properly the device contacts your trail arm at the bicep area---I did it the first time and it hit my upper shoulder---room for improvement there. Before and after footage showed much better extension on backswing and post-impact. I thought my lesson with Lynn was the fastest day I had ever spent. My lesson with Ted was the fastest 90 minutes I ever spent. Apparently The Swamp induces some type of time warp. Bottom line--if you haven't been to Marietta or gone to one of Lynn and Ted's "road shows" you are missing out on the finest G.O.L.F instruction on the planet. Thanks to both of you for your guidance on my journey. There are over 1,000 members of this site---what are you waiting for? If anyone has any questions about my 2 trips to Marietta and would like to contact me , just send me an email or PM. I'll be happy to discuss my experience. Have fun folks. Dave Garretson
