ATTN VJ and OTHERS Right forearm stroke variations
as lynn has explaned on here in a post and also at money hill the left wrist must be Flat Level and Vertical as per impact fix and utilizing an onplane right forearm takeaway to stroke the putt, ball position located at or just behing lowpoint and using angled hinging. is there a way to setup in this position and use a shoulder stroke. and if so what problems could result from this.

Use an open stance (approx 45 deg) and square shoulder line. Like Crenshaw or Greg Norman.

The issue is ensuring your shoulder line is 'on line' - or you tend to pull left or fan the face and block right.

For me, it is very helpful to have the open stance because otherwise my eyeline tends to point well right.

If you are going to use a shoulder only stroke with the ball forward, I would suggest "jacking up" on that left side. Meaning I would suggest moving the left shoulder forward toward the target, in this way you will protect the geometry of the circle.

A motionless right shoulder on the back stroke, as opposed to a moving right shoulder on the back stroke.....low point being opposite the sternum as opposed to opposite the left shoulder....accumulator #1 as opposed to #4.....these are the
"big ones" when it comes to the differences between the arm only and shoulder only stroke.
