This young man had 3, 45 minute lessons in three weeks and made these changes. He used the word "horrible" to describe his previous videos, and I simply agreed.
He's actually left handed, but I flipped the video, so it would have a 'normal' look for everyone.
I was extremely proud of him for making these changes so quickly, but he knows we're not finished.
Without the hat is "before". Has anyone ever seen a clubface that open?
With the hat is "after".

Ted,
I'm 'hoping' you ain't seen nothin' yet with regards to horrible.... I have a very good friend who was at one time a competent player (6 or7) and pretty long. He has descended into a world of throwaway I didn't think existed. He hits his driver 180... has no iron longer than a 7i and hits that 115 if he leans on it....and this from an athletic healthy in shape 50 yr. old.
I'm trying to talk him into making the trip from NY to see you. We have a mutual friend in Atlanta where he can stay and I think he will do it. It is has gotten so bad that last year he hit someone with a full swing driver about 80 yds from the tee on a line... the guy was bloodied but okay.... he said "I'm glad it wasn't your wife... or I might have been really hurt."

One of the worst I've seen hit a 7 iron about 80 yards. I think I've still got his video. He was hitting it 140 when he left. He had no idea that the clubshaft should have forward lean at impact.
