Three weeks ago he won the Cape Cod Open (67-69-73-209) follow by eleven shot victory in the Vermont State Open (62-62-69-193, seventeen under), before winning the Massachusetts State Open Championship (70-69-65-204, six under). His back-to-back 62’s in Vermont included a lost ball and a bogey on a par 5, otherwise he would have broken the course record. This week Jim goes for four in a row when he defends his title at the TD Banknorth Portland Open. As Homer said, the more precision in, the more precision out. Congrats, Drew, on a job well done.
