No, grip strength just affects face angle. Actuation of PA#3, called Throwout, is not the act of rotating the left forearm. It is the roll of the #3 angle, but the axis of rotation is not the left forearm. It's best understood as the act of the LFW moving off plane as the RFW moves towards it's on-plane condition at impact.

The best way to eliminate duck hooking is to hit the inside quadrant of the ball with an on-plane clubhead.
