"Increase overlap = Simultaneous release; slower start down, more thrust NEEDED to stay ahead of centrifugal force.

Decrease overlap = sequenced release; quick start down; maintenance of centrifugal acceleration. "

Being a hitter, at the top, I just push hard on #1 and thurst toward the ball by straightened the right arm. I feel quick and hard instead of slower start down; still unable to feel the slower start down feeling. Should I do something different or something is wrong in the procedure?

tgmer,

You should transport the hands downplane to release point with the pivot, before thrusting the left thumb at the aiming point with the heel of the right hand. Maybe some accomplished Hitters will jump in here. I only do this(sometimes) with mid-irons down through the wedge.

tgmer,

In addition to Mizuno's post, seek out Yoda's advice on how to load the right elbow.
